Oregon Science Olympiad
team-based science and engineering competition

Science Olympiad is the premier national science competition for middle and high school students. It involves over three million students across the nation, and is growing. It celebrates critical thinking and multiple intelligences. Teams of fifteen students collaborate in knowledge, laboratory, and building events. While Science Olympiad events cover all of the NGSS teaching standards, they go beyond the basics to teach students what it really means to be a scientist or to be an engineer.
